The Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center is asking for a renewed commitment from the St. Mark blood donors. Anyone who is willing to renew their commitment to give blood once a quarter, please add your name to the “Blood Donor Commitment Sheet” on the kiosk in the Narthex.

The 2011 dates:

March 6th, June 5th, August 14th, and November 6th

Eat a hearty meal and drink plenty of fluids prior to donation and throughout the day.

Remember to bring positive ID

Eligible: 17 years old or more, weigh 110 lbs or more, in general good health.

Each donation is separated into as many as 4 parts and transfused to trauma and surgery patients, premature babies, and in treatment of burns, transplants and cancer patients.
